These courses (Friday, #160-3459, 3.5 credits and Saturday, #160-3460, 6.5 credits) have been approved for 10.0 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval; however participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education.

Special rates are now available for veterinary students: $65 for one day and $150 for 3 day passes. You must provide proof of enrollement as a vet student.

Passes include access to all sessions, vendor tables, raffles, breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, buffet lunch on Friday and Saturday. Registration and payment in full due June 1, 2007.

Only registration forms accompanied by payment will be processed. A confirmation/receipt will be sent to you. Please keep a copy of this form for your records.

Hotel Accommodations

A limited number of rooms are available at the special rate of $109 for single or double rooms, available June 20-26. You must book by May 30, 2007 to take advantage of this rate.

The Sheraton is allowing ferrets in the rooms by special arrangement for a non-refundable fee of $25 per stay. Please note the Sheraton is normally a NO-PETS hotel, and ferrets should remain in the rooms, and be caged when no one is there with them. Please clean up after your pets!

The hotel provides 24-hour free shuttle service to and from the Portland International Airport, free parking for guests, free 24-hour fitness center and free wireless internet in the guest rooms. See the Sheraton's web site for more information.

Cancellation Policies
All cancellations received by June 1will be subject to a $20 processing fee which will be deducted from any refund. Cancellations after June 1 will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after June 16 as catering commitments must be finalized at that time.

Room cancellations must be made directly with the Sheraton. Contact them for cancellation policies.

Respect for Others
The purpose of this Symposium is to learn and engage in constructive discussions. We expect there may be disagreements on some issues, but we ask that people show respect for each other and for differing viewpoints. Anyone who cannot maintain civility will be asked to leave and no refund will be issued.
